Blog: The Geography of Memory

A recapitulation of my work and wandering ways with thanks to those that have influenced and encouraged me to keep writing and making images.

Yokohama in the Rain

This photo was recently chosen for the first annual Members’ Exhibit of Praxis Photo Arts Center in Minneapolis.

I took this photograph one late afternoon in Yokohama (Japan). It was drizzling and I took shelter at a bus stop across the street, hoping that the right combination of people would walk by before it became dark and I became wetter. I ended up with 6 shots, this one being by far the best of the bunch.
